To prepare the site for the production of exploration drilling and the start of development, “Volga Region Oil” company carried out 3D seismic exploration. The scope of work was 12 square km and covered the entire licensed South Coastal (Yuzhno-Pribrezhnoye) area. In the works, the method of a common depth point and microseismic logging were used.

The work performed allowed us to obtain an objective picture of the geological structure of the subsoil area, to determine its most promising segments, to estimate resources and reserves, and also to minimize the risks and unjustified financial costs during the development of the field.
